A documentary, an intellectual thriller, an animation and a new Romanian film

The documentary “The Art Collection: Van Gogh – A New Way of Seeing / Exhibition on Screen: Vincent Van Gogh” brings to the screen the works and the story of the well-known painter who marked the beginning of modern painting. The documentary directed by Phil Grabsky and David Bickerstaff has been touring the world since 2015, but now it has the Romanian premiere.

Another premiere is the “Little Joe / Little Joe” horror. The film follows the phytogenetic Alice, who designed a very special purple flower. Not so much the beauty of the plant is out of the ordinary as its therapeutic value. But the flower comes with its risks. The Cannes Film Festival selected three feature films “Lovely Rita” (2001), “Hotel” (2004) and “Amour Fou” for the Un Certain Regard section.

The animation “Onward / Onward” by Dan Scanlon tells the story of two elven brothers who set off on a journey to find out if magic is still present in the world.

“Urma” is the feature film debut of director and actor Dorian Boguţă. The film with Marin Grigore, Teodor Corban, Madalina Diana Ghenea and Irina Rădulescu in distribution tells the story of Anton, a famous pianist, who is missing. The policeman who takes over the case finds out about his fate, relationships and bizarre decisions. After the death of his parents, Anton had become obsessed with his sister’s happiness, beyond the confines of fraternal love … The following is a police movie with thriller accents about the secrets that those around us are hiding.
