Mădălina Ghenea, actress and model with an international career, will meet with the Romanian audience at the special screenings of the first Romanian film in which she plays, “Urma”, the directorial debut in the feature film by the actor Dorian Boguţă, which will debut in cinemas in the country on March 6.

In the week of launch, Mădălina Ghenea will meet with the spectators from Iasi and Bucharest, at three of the previews of the film.

Her first meeting with the spectators will take place in Iasi, on March 2, at 8 pm, at the Athenaeum in Tătăraşi, where she will be with the actors Teodor Corban and Liviu Pintileasa.

Ghenea will be present, on March 4, from 20.30, at Baneasa Shopping City – Grand Cinema & More in Bucharest, together with the director Dorian Boguţă and the actors Dragoş Bucur and Marin Grigore.

On March 5, from 20.00, at Cinema City AFI Cotroceni, Mădălina Ghenea will tell about the filming for “Urma” and her role with the actor Marin Grigore.

A cop with thriller accents, “Trace” is a story about the secrets that those around us are hiding. Everything starts from the disappearance of a famous pianist. The policeman taking over the case gradually learns about the artist’s troubled fate, his bizarre relationships and the decisions that triggered a whirlwind of surprising events. After the death of his parents, he had become obsessed with his sister’s happiness, beyond the confines of brotherly love.

The cast includes Teodor Corban, Marin Grigore, Irina Rădulescu, Dragoş Bucur, Mădălina Ghenea, Lucian Ifrim, Liviu Pintileasa and István Téglás.

It is the first Romanian film in which Mădălina Ghenea plays, noted by the international press in productions such as Paolo Sorrentino’s “Youth”, “The Mongrel” (r. Alessandro Gassman, 2012) and “Dom Hemingway” (r. Richard Shepard, 2013). .

In “Urma”, the star plays the role of the girlfriend of the missing, a key character in the police investigation. Alongside her, Irina Rădulescu, the daughter of the late actor Dem Rădulescu, also stars in the film.

“Urma” will have screenings in the presence of the team and in Cluj-Napoca (March 5, Cinema Victoria, at the TIFF Cinema), Arad (March 6, Cinema Arta), Timişoara (March 7, Cinema City Timişoara Shopping City), Sibiu (11 March, Cinema Ion Besoiu). In Bucharest, the team will also be present at Cinema “Elvire Popesco” (March 8) and Cinema Museum of Peasant (March 10).

The feature film “Urma” had its world premiere at the Namur International Film Festival and was selected in the Spectrum competition at Cottbus. The script is signed by Dorian Boguţă and Loredana Novak, the image was made by Barbu Bălăşoiu (“Sieranevada”), and the editing belongs to Tudor Popescu. “Urma” is produced by Hai Hui Entertainment, in co-production with Mandragora, Actoriedefilm and Point Film.

The film team also made a video for one of the most popular tracks of the alternative rock band Urma, “A Place for Me”, from the 2007 album “Trend Off”.

In Romanian cinemas, “Urma” is distributed by Transilvania Film.
