Crowd in Rome for the farewell to Pietro Coccia – Cinema

The church of Santa Maria Addolorata in Rome has failed to accommodate all the friends and colleagues who have gathered around the family for their last farewell to Pietro Coccia, the photographer who with his shots has told Italian cinema for years. A moved crowd applauded the 'gentle giant' coffin, which many on the altar, such as Monica Tasciotti and Laura Delli Colli, recalled with anecdotes and affectionate curiosities about his generous and kind personality. In the church of Viale Regina Margherita, many colleagues, photographers and journalists with whom he shared cinema trips around the world, many press offices in the sector and many famous faces. There were among others Beppe Fiorello, Valeria Golino, Claudia Gerini, Madalina Ghenea who did not stop crying throughout the funeral, Paola Minaccioni, the brothers Antonio and Pupi Avati, Ricky Tognazzi, the twins D'Innocenzo, Claudio Bonivento , Ivan Cotroneo. And then again Alessandro Haber, Enrica Bonaccorti, Ilaria Spada, Giampaolo Letta, Roberto Cicutto, Maria Rosaria Omaggio. His film community and his family have been two similar but non-communicating worlds in his life, as often happens between work and private life, so brother Benedetto and sister Maria thanked them for seeing how great that parallel family was that they were excited it is tight around them.
