Ginevra Elkann seduces Hollywood. The filmaker received the ‘Revelation of the Year’ award from ‘Los Angeles, Italy – Film, Fashion and Art Festival’ at the end of the American preview at the TCL Chinese Theaters of her debut comedy ‘Magari’. The Excellence Awards went to the actress Alba Rohrwacher, the screenwriter Chiara Barzini, and to the producer Lorenzo Mieli: for all the mask of Pulcinella, symbol of the festival, signed by the artist Lello Esposito. The 15th edition of the Italian happening promoted by the Capri Institute in the world under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the support of Mibact (Dg Cinema and Audiovisual) awarded Steven Zaillian (former Oscar winner and nominated in 2020 for the screenplay of the film directed by Martin Scorsese, ‘The Irishman’) for the best script. Ginevra Elkann graduated from the London Film School and worked as assistant director for Bernardo Bertolucci and Anthony Minghella; in the independent circuit it is known for producing important titles such as the Swahili drama ‘White Shadow’, and ‘Land’ by Babak Jalali. His comedy ‘Magari’, inspired by the atmosphere of childhood, had opened the Locarno festival last year and will be in Italian theaters from March 19 distributed by BIM. At the end of the award ceremony, party in Beverly Hills in the villa of the producer Mitch Glazer, among the guests Danny Huston Casey Affleck, Pascal Vicedomini, Francesca Archibugi, Gabriele Salvatores, Elisa Amoruso.
