On 26 June, the Auditorium Hall of the National Art Museum of Romania will host Nicola Piovani, one of the world's largest international pianists, Italian composer and conductor. Author of famous soundtracks, he collaborated with some of the greatest directors of Italian cinema, winning the Oscar in 1999 for La Vita è bella.

Piovani's concert will be a musical story, interpreted by the instruments on stage – piano, double bass, percussion, saxophone, clarinet, guitar, cello, accordion.

The video sequences projected on stage during the concert will refer to Master Piovani's artistic collaborations in cinema, theater, with Spanish, French, Dutch and Italian directors.

The concert titled "Italy in Music Energy" is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Bucharest.

During the evening, for the first time in Romania, the coveted Italian award "Leonardo The Immortal Light 2019" will be handed out, where the expectations regarding the potential recipients in the different categories are very high.

In the show will also take place the recital of Silvia Mezzanotte, a renowned Italian singer who, in 1990, participated in the Sanremo Festival, in the Youth category, with the song Sarai grande, achieving fourth place. It was Matia Bazar's voice between 1999 and 2004 and between 2010 and 2016 when he finally left the group to embrace his solo career.

The concert will be the actress madalina Ghenea, which appeared in the video of Eros Ramazzotti's song "Il tempo tra di noi", in 2008 being the protagonist of the Peroni calendar and a little later in a TV spot for a phone company with Raoul Bova and Teresa Mannino . He also had numerous cinematographic experiences until 2014 when he took part in the casting of the film Youth directed by Paolo Sorrentino, who starred Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel.
