The Oscar 2019 Gala, marked by controversy

This year's Oscar gala was marked by premieres and controversies. The Best Movie of the Year came to the Green Book, a controversial drama on racial discrimination.

Exceptionally, the most important event in Hollywood was opened by Queen, and Lady Gaga offered memorable, but highly commented moments alongside actor Bradley Cooper.

The most commented appearance was, surprisingly, that of an actor. The evening was followed by exclusive parties to which the Romanian Mădălina Ghenea came.

The most exciting moment of the gala was the duet between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The two were one step away from kissing during the song "Shallow", the best original song. There was also Bradley Cooper's girlfriend in the room. The Irina Shayk model congratulated Lady Gaga. At this year's Oscar gala, the supreme trophy was back to the "Green Book" movie, though the favorites in the race were other films.

The "Green Book" film tells the story of a less-common friendship between a black pianist and an Italian who bluntly shows his xenophobic ideas.

On the stage of Oscar, Queen also went on. The "Bohemian Rhapsody" film, celebrating Freddie Mercury's life, received four trophies. The most important of them came to Rami Malek. On the stage, the actor made a love statement to her lover, whom he met in the shooting.

Rami Malek, actor: Lucy Boynton, you are the heart of this film, you are overwhelmingly talented. You stole my heart.

But neither did Rami Malek get the Oscar statue, he fell on stage. The paramedics immediately took him backstage.

At last night's gala, a total surprise was the winner of the prize for the main female role. Actress Glenn Close lost to Olivia Colman, awarded for Queen Anne's interpretation of "The Favorite".

Olivia Colman, actress: I worked as a woman and I really liked that job, but I spent some time imagining it.

Director Alfonso Cuaron received the award for best foreign film. But he was not in the spotlight, but his 13-year-old son. A video camera surprised the teenager … croaking.

Award-winning Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Regina King was saved by Captain America. Actor Chris Evans helped her climb the stairs after she got her dress between the chairs.

Instead, one of the invited guests entered Mary Poppins style. And the topic that made funny jokes was the lack of a host for the Oscar gala.
