After a first French perfume evening, the Venice Film Festival opened its doors Thursday night for superstars across the Ocean.
Scarlett Johansson, Adam Driver and Brad Pitt rocked the red carpet long before the official screenings.
Dozens of photoreporters warmed up Thursday night with the graceful brawls made by Israeli photographer Bar Rafaeli, who is pregnant with the third child, and the Romanian Madalina Ghenea.
The atmosphere became incandescent with the arrival of actor Brad Pitt, who came to promote his film Ad Astra.
Kind and patient with the fans, Pitt spent a quarter of an hour giving autographs and taking selfies, during which time the acclaim didn't hold.
"Ad astra" is a spatial odyssey woven around an intimate story about the father-son relationship. Both astronauts, the two meet in space, with the mission to save mankind from a catastrophe and, at the same time, to solve their own misunderstandings.
On the other hand, in the film "Marriage Story" of Noah Baumbach, the marriage and especially the divorce are dissected.
Scarlett Johansson, actress: "When I met Noah, I was going through a divorce and I didn't know why we were dating, but it was kind of it."
Noah Baumbach, director: "And I didn't know what you were going through."
Scarlett Johansson, actress: "And he didn't even know I was going through a divorce. Thus, when he came to talk about the film, I discovered the subject. "
Since the gala screening in Venice, the film's stars have been lacking: Adam Driver, Laura Dern and, of course, Scarlett Johanson, with an electrifying beauty.
